Looking for a Good Cause to Support - Look No Further - Visit Project Cuddle

As we at Polka Dot Whale celebrate the joy of parenthood and birth everyday, we also feel it is important to think and support others in need. 

Project Cuddle is a non-profit organization that aims to prevent infants from being abandoned.  Today, Project Cuddle operates a toll-free 24-Hour Crisis Hotline, in English and Spanish, and provides educational materials to schools and community groups. This includes a new video starring Paula Abdul (American Idol), Kathy Najimy (Sister Act), Mary Stuart Masterson (Law and Order: SVU) and national spokesperson, John Stamos (Full House) designed to educate school children about the Safely Surrendered Baby Laws. Project Cuddle's overarching goal is to provide expectant mothers in crisis with safe and legal alternatives to abandoning their babies, coordinating efforts with attorneys, hospitals, obstetricians, social workers and adoptive families.  Note:  Project Cuddle is not affiliated with any religious or political group.
